Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO MELHORADO PARA HALOGENAÇÃO DE COPOLÍMEROS DE ISOMONOOLEFINA". Divulga-se um processo para halogenação de um copolímero de uma C~ 4~ a C~ 7~ isomonoolefina, por exemplo isobutileno, e uma multiolefina, por exemplo isopreno ou para-alquilestireno, por exemplo para-metilestireno. Obtêm-se eficiência de halogenação aumentada e tempo de reação diminuído conduzindo a reação na presença de uma fonte de halogênio e uma emulsão aquosa contendo um agente de oxidação solúvel em água, por exemplo peróxido de hidrogênio, que oxida haleto de hidrogênio produzido in situ na reação contrária para halogênio livre.
