É proporcionado um processo para preparar óleos lubrificantes de matéria prima do Grupo II e Grupo III de alta qualidade, de uma solução de carga contendo enxofre, usando hidrotratamento brando seguindo por isomerização/retirada da cera, seguida por hidrogenação através de um catalisador de hidrogenação resitente a enxofre.
