Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSOS E COMPOSIÇÕES PARA REDUÇÃO OU ELIMINAÇÃO DE FORMAÇÃO DE ADERÊNCIA PÓS-CIRÚRGICA" . A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para reduzir aderências associadas com cirurgia pós-operatória. O presente processo compreende a administração ou a fixação de uma composição polimérica preferivelmente compreendendo triblocos ABA ou diblocos AB de poliéster/polioxialquileno de cadeia estendida, acoplada ou reticulada tendo razões EO/LA favoráveis em um sítio no corpo que foi sujeito a trauma, por exemplo por cirurgia, excisão ou doença inflamatória. Na presente invenção, o material polimérico fornece uma barreira para evitar ou reduzir a extensão de formação de aderências.
