São descritas preparações de insulina de superior estabilidade física, compreendendo insulina humana ou um seu análogo ou derivado precipitada(o) e/ou dissolvida(o), e um carboidrato não-redutor ou reduzido solúvel em água contendo pelo menos 4 átomos de carbono na estrutura de carboidrato principal, ou um éster-derivado e/ou éter-derivado não-redutor, solúvel em água, de um carboidrato ou carboidrato reduzido contendo pelo menos 4 átomos na estrutura de carboidrato principal, ou suas misturas.
