A invenção refere-se aos polissacarídeos de síntese, contendo de 8 a 24 unidades monossacarídicas formadas por um encadeamento de dissacarídeos constituídos de um ácido urônico e de uma hexose, esse polissacarídeo sendo caracterizado pelo fato de todos os seus grupos hidroxilas serem eterificados com um grupo(C~ 1~-C~ 6~)alquila ou esterificados sob a forma de grupo sulfo, cada dissacarídeo sendo pelo menos monoeterificado, assim como seus sais.
