Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "INIBIDORES ANTI-SENSE DE EXPRESSÃO DO FATOR DE CRESCIMENTO ENDOTELIAL VASCULAR" . A presente invenção refere-se à inibição da expressão do fator de crescimento endotelial vascular com oligonucleotídeos. Acredita-se que os oligonucleotídeos da presente invenção se ligam ao mRNA alvo de forma seqüencia-específica e impede a expressão do gene codificado. São apresentadas modificações químicas dos oligonucleotídeos para aumentar sua estabilidade e eficácia de ligação. Essas modificações aumentam a estabilidade e eficácia dos oligonucleotídeos contemplados nesta invenção. Composições de oligonucleotídeos podem ser usadas em terapias ex vivo para o tratamento de macrófagos ou terapias in vivo por tratamento por injeção, inalação, tópico ou outras vias de administração.
