Expõe-se um processo para incorporar um enchimento particulado fino, tal como argila de caulim, em papel de seda. O processo resulta em texturas de papel de seda robustas, macias e de baixa formação de poeira, de utilidade na manufatura de produtos higiênicos absorventes, macios, tais como tecido para banheiro, tecido facial e toalhas absorventes.
