"MÁSCARA PARA USO POR UMA PESSOA CONDUZINDO UM PROCEDIMENTO CIRÚRGICO, MÁSCARA CIRÚRGICA PARA FACILITAR A RESPIRAÇÃO, E, PROCESSO PARA CONSTRUIR UMA MÁSCARA". Descreve-se uma máscara cirúrgica (10) para cobrir o nariz e boca de uma pessoa. A máscara (10) é projetada para facilitar o fluxo de ar através do nariz. A máscara inclui uma tira adesiva (26), rígida, que, quando fixada sobre o nariz, abre as passagens nasais para permitir o fluxo de mais ar através da mesma. Além disso, a tira adesiva (26), rígida, evita que ar exalado escape através do topo (14) da máscara e condense sobre os óculos do portador, ou outras superfícies.
