Abstract
''LENTE DE CONTATO E MÉTODO PARA FABRICAÇÃO DE UMA LENTE DE CONTATO", sendo dita lente de contato para ser usada com uma córnea anesférica assimétrica. A lente inclui uma superfície anterior, uma superfície posterior e uma base. As superfícies anterior e posterior incluem, cada uma, uma porção ótica central (36) e uma porção corneal periférica externa (34). A superfície posterior é dividida em uma pluralidade de segmentos de superfície local (66) por uma pluralidade de limites radialmente estendidos que se originam a partir de um ponto central comum na superfície posterior da lente. Cada um dos segmentos de superfície local (66) adapta-se ao formato de uma porção de superfície local correspondente da córnea disposta sob o respectivo segmento de superfície local de lente, quando a lente é utilizada no olho.
