Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA REDUZIR A VISCOSIDADE DE UM POLISSACARÍDEO". Descreve-se um processo para reduzir a viscosidade de polissacarídeos tais como amido, mediante tratamento com peróxido de hidrogênio na presença de um polissacarídeo acilado como um ativador. O polissacarídeo acilado é usado, em particular, em uma quantidade que é equivalente a pelo menos um grupo acila por 100 unidades de monossacarídeos. O peróxido de hidrogênio é preferivelmente usado de 2 a 20% em peso, em relação ao total de polissacarídeo e polissacarídeo acilado.
