A invenção refere-se a uma composição farmacêutica à base de reína ou diacerreína. A composição destina-se a uma administração por via oral, retal ou cutânea (percutânea ou transdérmica), e compreende reína ou diacerreína, ou um de seus sais ou ésteres farmaceuticamente aceitáveis, e o lauril sulfato de sódio, comicronizados, numa proporção em pesos compreendida entre 3:1 e 30:1. A composição apresenta uma biodisponibilidade aperfeiçoada.
