Abstract
"FIO-GUIA MÉDICO COM NÚCLEO COMPLETAMENTE ENDURECIDO" Trata-se de um fio-guia (10) que compreende um elemento de núcleo alongado (12) fabricado a partir de uma liga martensítica submetida à tratamento térmico, produzindo um núcleo totalmente enrijecido em toda a sua área em corte transversal. O elemento de núcleo (12) possui um afilamento homogêneo ou uma área de corte transversal decrescente na direção da extremidade distal (24) que está totalmente enrijecida em todo o seu comprimento longitudinal. Uma espiral única, ou duas espirais (32, 36) são carregadas e afixadas ao dito elemento de núcleo (12) próximo à extremidade distal (24).
