"SINCRONIZADOR DO TIPO PINO", de dupla atuação (10) com anéis de fricção (26, 46 e 28, 48), membros de garra (30, 38 e 32, 40) axialmente seguros juntos por retentores (44), três pinos espaçados circunferencialmente (60) incluindo suportes bloqueadores para impedir o engate dessincronizado das embreagens dentadas, e conjuntos pré-energizadores (52) para garantir engate inicial dos anéis de fricção e suportes bloqueadores em resposta a movimento de engate inicial de uma flange de mudança (42), e rampas auto energizantes (20a-20d e 62a-62d). O sincronizador inclui membros de garra melhorados e rampas de auto energização, uma flange de mudança melhorada, pré energizadores melhorados, e retentores de membro dentado melhorados.
