Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA FUNDIR MATERIAIS METÁLICOS EM FORNO DE CUBA". A invenção se refere a um processo para fundir substâncias de materiais metálicos em um forno de cuba. Durante o processo, o coque é queimado com ar pré-aquecido e oxigênio substancialmente limpo e os gases de combustão aquecem em contra corrente a carga de metal. A massa fundida é supreaquecida e carburada no leito de coque, um sopro de uma porção fixo do oxigênio sendo injetado no leito de coque a velocidade muito alta e, tanto quanto possível, para aperfeiçoar a passagem de gás pelo leito de coque, e um sopro de uma segunda quantidade variável de oxigênio sendo injetado no conduto circular do vento.
