A invenção fornece um pod de canhão que inclui meio de montagem na forma de uma estrutura em anel dentro da qual uma arma é montada, a estrutura em anel sendo adaptada para ser presa a um suporte. O pod de canhão ainda inclui um carregador de munição que compreende uma estrutura de tambor tubular dentro da qual pelo menos a porção da arma está disposta e que define uma superfície externa na qual um cinturão cartucheira articulado pode ser enrolado.
