Abstract

''EMENDA INTELIGENTE'' Correia transportadora (10) que contém pelo menos um transponder de circuito integrado (30) o qual, após interrogação por um sinal de rádio externo, transmite informações de identificação em forma digitalmente codificada. O transponder (30) tem uma antena (36A) genericamente planar e circular circundando uma placa de circuito impresso na qual anexa-se um circuito integrado. O transponder pode ser encerrado em um material epoxídico rígido para proteger a estrutura de danos durante o uso. Os transponderes colocados adjacentes às emendas (60, 62 e 64) em um segmento de emenda fornecem processo sem contato para localizar e monitorar o conserto.
