A invenção refere-se a composições para revestimento isentas de solvente que podem ser curadas com emissões baixas e compreendem, como aglutinantes poliésteres saturados e/ou não-saturados cujas unidades estruturais incluem de diidro diciclopentadieno da fórmula (I): (I), e/ou unidades de oligo diidro diciclopentadieno da fórmula (II): (II), nas quais n = de 1 até 10, a processos para a produção de revestimentos com a utilização das novas composições para revestimentos, e a utilização das composições para revestimento para o revestimento de recipientes de metal, de modo especial latas.
