As espumas de poliuretano flexíveis moldadas a frio podem ser preparadas de polióis de polioxialquileno de baixo teor de hidroxila primária, quando polióis de polioxialquileno tendo uma insaturação de 0,02 meq/g ou menos proporcionam a parte substancial do componente poliol.
