Abstract
"TRATAMENTO AMBIENTALMENTE AMIGÁVEIS PARA PROLONGAR A VIDA DA MADEIRA". Processo para prolongar a vida funcional de estruturas de madeira (2), como postes telefônicos, postes utilitários, pilares e fundações, pelo controle da atividade de organismos de apodrecimento de madeira, minimizando, ao mesmo tempo, o uso de substâncias químicas ambientalmente perigosas. O processo compreende a aplicação de uma solução de tratamento microbiano a uma parte (3) da estrutura de madeira sujeita ao apodrecimento por organismos microbianos e o recobrimento da parte tratada da estrutura de madeira com um material impenetrável a insetos (4).
