Abstract
DETECÇÃO DE PRIONS EM UMA AMOSTRA E PREPARAÇÃO DE PRION E ANIMAL TRANSGÊNICO UTILIZADO PARA A MESMA. A invenção inclui um gene PrP artificial, um animal transgênico contendo um gene PrP de um animal heterólogo, e um animal não humano híbrido com um gene de proteína de prion endógeno removido. São também revelados processos de ensaio para a presença de partículas de prion em uma amostra por inoculação dos animais transgênicos reivindicados e observação dos animais inoculados em relação a sintomas associados a doenças de prion.
