Patente de Invenção: "METALIZAÇÃO E FUNCIONALIZAÇÃO DE POLÍMEROS E COPOLÍMEROS" .É provido um processo de introdução de funcionalidade em um copolímero de uma issolefina e um alqulestireno no átomo de carbono alquibenzila compreendendo as etapas de: formação de uma solução do dito copolímero em um solvente de hidrocarboneto; adição à dita solução de polímero de um alcóxido de metal álcali Cs, K, Na e um composto alquil lítio para formar uma superbase com a solução de polímero, e adição de um eletrófilo à dita solução de polímero base, também são providos os copolímeros metalizados e derivados funcionalizados dos mesmos.
