Abstract
TRANSDUTOR ULTRA-SÔNICO DE INVESTIGAÇÃO DE TRILHO APERFEIÇOADO . Um aparelho de investigação de boleto de trilho ultra-sônico (18) compreendendo um transdutor lateral (20) com uma lente (64) para focalizar o feixe de uma maneira por onde defeitos do trilho nas laterais dos boletos de trilho (22) sejam mais rapidamente detectados. Em uma forma da invenção, um transdutor de investigação de trilho ultra-sônico é fornecido com uma superfície de emissão curvada (64) e localizado de forma a colocar o feixe acústico focalizado entre um material do trilho (52) e o centro do trilho. A superfície de emissão curvada pode fazer parte de uma superfície cilíndrica alinhada paralela ao eixo longitudinal do trilho ou uma superfície de emissão de forma esférica para fornecer um feixe de forma cônica para investigar a lateral de um trilho.
