Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "EXTRAÇÃO HIDROMETALÚRGICA DE METAL ASSISTIDA POR CLORETO" . Processo para extração de um metal de um minério ou concentrado compreende submeter o minério ou concentrado a oxidação por pressão, em presença de oxigênio e uma solução ácida contendo íons halogênio e uma fonte de íons bissulfato ou sulfato, tal como H~ 2~SO~ 4~. Os metais que podem ser extraídos pelo processo compreendem cobre, bem como metais não cuprosos, tais como, zinco, níquel e cobalto. Durante a oxidação por pressão, o metal pode ser precipitado como um sal básico insolúvel, tal como, sulfato de cobre básico ou substancial e completamente solubilizado e precipitado posteriormente como o sal de metal básico. Novo relatório descrito, incorporando as alterações correspondentes às das páginas 2-8 e 46 do PCT, apresentadas à WIPO em 13 de junho de 1997 (13.06.97) e 01 de agosto de 1997 (01.08.97).
