"LIGA DE AÇO INOXIDÁVEL AUSTENÍTICA", consistindo essencialmente de, em porcentagem em peso, a cerca de: C 0,030 máx., Mn 2, 0 máx., Si 1, 0 máx., p 0,05 máx., S 0,02 - 0,05 Cr 16, 0 - 20,0, Ni 9,8 - 14,0, Mo 3,0 máx., Cu 0,8 - 1,5, N 0,035 máx., até cerca de 0,75 porcentagem em peso de um elemento selecionado do grupo consistindo de Ti e Cb, e o balanço sendo essencialmente ferro, em que Cb não é maior do que cerca de 0,1 em peso quando Ti > (5, x%C) e Ti não é maior do que cerca de 0,1 de porcentagem em peso quando Cb > (10 x % C). A liga provê uma combinação inédita de usinabilidade, resistência à corrosão, formabilidade, e propriedades mecânicas.
