Abstract
BANDEJA DENTAL SOB ENCOMENDA Um conjunto dental duplo (10) é fornecido, no qual inclui uma bandeja dental externa, elástica maleável (14) usando uma bandeja interna fina pré-formada de material termoplástico que se encaixa no interior da bandeja externa maleável. As duas são aquecidas de entre 62,7° C a 71,1° C. Durante este tempo, a bandeja interna é mais moldável, permitindo que a bandeja interna seja formada precisamente sobre os dentes do paciente. A bandeja externa (14) também prolonga o tempo durante o qual a bandeja interna (12) é moldada. A bandeja externa (14) também opera como uma vedação com as gengivas para criar um vácuo melhor criado pela aspiração do paciente. Assim, a bandeja interna (12) uma vez forma e resfriada, torna-se dura e flexível novamente e fornece uma bandeja dental dura, fina tão precisa quanto as bandejas dentais produzidas pelos dentistas em seus laboratórios sobre moldes.
