Patente de Invenção: "COMPOSIÇÃO DE LIMPEZA A SECO E DE REMOÇÃO LOCALIZADA'' . É utilizado 1,2-octanodiol para limpar tecidos sujos. Assim, as composições de limpeza compreendendo 1,2-octanodiol, de preferência em combinação com solventes, são impregados nas folhas veículo. As folhas são turbilhonadas com os tecidos sujos dentro de um saco plástico. O processo de limpeza a seco doméstico resultante, deixa os tecidos limpos e restaurados.
