Abstract
''PAPEL CONTENDO AMIDO TERMICAMENTE INIBIDO''. Amidos e farinhas termicamente inibidos, preferencialmente amidos catiônicos ou anfotéricos que são, opcionalmente, encadeados quimicamente em cruzamentos, são adicionados, inicialmente em forma de aditivos úmidos de extremidade, para estoque de papel. O amido ou farinha é inibido por desidratação para anidro ou substancialmente anidro, e então tratado por calor por um tempo o amido ou farinha desidratação, e a uma temperatura suficiente para inibir o amido ou farinha e melhorar sua estabilidade viscosa quando disperso em água. A desidratação pode ser uma desidratação térmica ou não-térmica (i.é, por extração etílica ou secagem por resfriamento). Preferencialmente, o pH do amido ou farinha é ajustado para neutro ou acima da desidratação.
