Abstract

SISTEMAS DE IMAGEM. Um sistema de imagem para produzir uma radiografia panorâmica do maxilar de um paciente para análise odontológica inclui uma fonte (2) de raio-x transportadora em uma extremidade de uma braço (1) e meio detector (7) na outra. A superfície frontal do meio detector (7) transporta material cintilador (8) que substancial e unicamente a área do meio detector na qual a informação da imagem é capturada. O diafragma secundário, ou fenda, usado nos sistemas de imagem de raio-x panorâmicos convencionais pode assim ser omitido, proporcionando um sistema menos complicado.
