A invenção revela essencialmente a aplicação de dito produto como agente terapêutico para tratar pacientes que sofrem de aterosclerose e/ou reestenose e que incorrem em sério risco de oculsão dos vasos afetados pelas moléstias. Dita substância pode ser administradora pela boca ou via parenteral, associada ou não com outras drogas, a pacientes sofrendo de aterosclerose para reduzir ferimento ateromatoso e prevenir a reestenose dos vasos sanguíneos.
