Patente de Invenção UTENSÍLIO PARA TRATAMENTO DOS CABELOS (COM MEDIÇÃO DA UMIDADE DO CABELO MEDINDO A RESISTÊNCIA DO CABELO) E CIRCUITO PARA CONVERTE O VALOR DE RESISTÊNCIA DE UM RESISTOR EM UM SINAL DE MEDIÇÃO". Um utensílio para tratamento dos cabelos mede a umidade do cabelo medindo a resistência (R~ x~) do cabelo entre eletrodos de medição (14A/14B). A resistência do cabelo (R ~x~) é incluída em uma rede T compreendendo um primeiro resistor (20) ativado por uma fonte de tensão (28) e um segundo resistor (24). A corrente de sinal (I~ s~) através do segundo resistor é medida e convertida em um sinal de medição (MS) por um conversor (30). Como um resultado do uso rede T uma variação de resistência comparativamente grande da resistência do cabelo (R~ x~) é requerida para uma variação em amplitude dada na corrente de sinal (I~ s~). Isto permite medições através de uma gama de resistência mais ampla enquanto qua a resolução é mantida.
