A invenção refere-se a composições de combinação farmacêutica, para o tratamento de hipertensão, falha cardíaca congestiva e falha renal, compreendendo (1) benazepril inibidor de ACE de fórmula (I) ou benazeprilat de fórmula (II) ou um sal farmaceuticamente aceitável destes, e (2) valsartan antagonista de AT~ 1~ de fórmula (III) ou um sal farmaceuticamente aceitável do mesmo, bem como a métodos para o tratamento de hipertensão, falha cardíaca congestiva e falaha renal.
