Patente de Invenção: "ARTIGOS DE VIDRO E MÉTODO DE TRATAMENTO TÉRMICO DE UM ARTIGO DE VIDRO REVESTIDO " Sistema de camadas tratável por calor, durável e quimicamente resistente para vidros usados para fins de automóveis e arquitetônicos inclui uma camada metálica de níquel ou liga do mesmo, sobre-revestida com nitreto de silício (Si~ 3~N~ 4~). O sistema de camadas pode incluir um sub-revestimento de nitreto de silício (Si~ 3~N~ 4~), e a camada metálica pode também incluir nitreto de silício. A camada metálica pode estar parcialmente oxida ou circundada por camadas de óxidos estequiométricos do metal. A camada metálica, todavia deve conter um nitreto.
