Composições compreendendo um polímero orgânico sintético e, como estabilizador, uma combinação de A) uma hidroxilamina estericamente impedida, ou um éter ou éster da mesma, e B) um composto contendo um grupo oxo e/ou hidroxila ligado a um átomo de metal, mostram uma excelente estabilidade contra os efeitos prejudiciais de luz, oxigênio e/ou calor. Uma combinação de componentes A e B também é efetiva para estabilizar um filme de copolímero de poliolefina ou olefina para aplicações na agricultura contra efeitos prejudiciais de luz, oxigênio, calor e pesticidas.
