A composição para conformidade de um reservatório de campo de óleo ou gás é constituída por : (i) pelo menos um monômero polar etilenicamente insaturado não acídico, tal como acrilamida: e (ii) pelo menos um éster insaturado etilenicamente copolimerizável, tal como um acrilato de alquila ou aralquila, que é gelificado no reservatório utilizando um agente gelificador de íon de metal polivalente, tal como sal de cromo ou zircônio.
