Abstract
Patente de Invenção "DISPOSITIVO DE VEDAÇÃO PARA UM EIXO PROPULSOR". Um dispositivo de vedação ajustãvel (10) para vedar entre um eixo rotável (12) e a abertura nuna estrutura, como o casco (14) ou o anteparo de uma embarcação, através do qual passa o eixo. O dispositivo é geralmente rígido e compreende um anel adaptador (20), um anel deslizante (62), um diagragma (54) posicionado entre o anel adapatador deslizante, um anel de fricção tendo uma extremidade posiconada no anel adapatador e uma superfície de vedação engatável com a superfície de vedação de um anel de vedação (161) rotável com o eixo, meios de predisposição (130) posicionados entre o anel deslizante e o anel de fricção para impelir as superfícies de vedação uma contra a outra, e uma capa de mola (134) atuando como uma vedação reduntante ao diafragma.
