Abstract
Patente de Invenção "CORREIA PRENSA E PROCESSO DE SUA FABRICAÇÃO". Uma correia prensa na forma de um laço sem fim inclui fibras de reforço transversais e longitudinais. As fibras de reforço transversais (16) são posicionadas adjacentes à superfície externa da correia (10) e as fibras de reforço longitudinais (18) são posicionadas adjacentes à superfície interna da correia (10). As fibras (16, 18) são assentadas no interior de um cilindro aplicador e um material elastomérico (20) é lançado sobre as fibras (16, 18) enquanto o cilindro aplicador está girando. As fibras transversais (16) são assentadas no interior do cilindro aplicador primeiro de forma que situem-se adjacentes à superfície externa da correia e a seguir as fibras longitudinais (18) são assentadas sobre as fibras transversais (16).
