Patente de Invenção "PROCESSO DE SELAR UMA CÂMARA DE VAPOR DE UM FERRO DE PASSAR A VAPOR, CÂMARA DE VAPOR PARA USO EM UM FERRO DE PASSAR A VAPOR, CHAPA DE APOIO E FERRO DE PASSAR A VAPOR". Um processo de selar uma câmara de vapor (4) de um ferro de passar a vapor (1), cuja câmara de vapor é delimitada por uma chapa de apoio (3) e por uma chapa de cobertura metálica (5), a chapa de apoio sendo formada com uma ranhura (8), uma borda periférica (10) da chapa de cobertura (5) sendo aplicada no interior da ranhura (8), e subsequentemente um fio metálico (11) sendo montado no interior da ranhura, a seguir o fio metálico é deformado por intermédio de uma ferramenta de prensa (13), o fio deformando pressionando as superfícies de contato (10a, 10b) de chapa de cobertura contra as superfícies de contato (8a, 8b) da ranhura e desse modo proporcionando a condição selada.
