Processo para obter o brilho máximo de película de uma película secada de uma composição de revestimento à base d'água, ou tinta, é provido. A composição de revestimento à base d'água contém um pigmento predominante e dois polímeros em emulsão, os três componentes em partículas tendo algumas quantidades relativas e relações de tamanho um com o outro.
