Abstract

Patente de Invenção de "SAL METÁLICO SOBREBASEADO DE UM MATERIAL ÁCIDO, LUBRIFICANTE, COMPOSIÇÃO E MÉTODO PARA LUBRIFICAR UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTÃO INTERNA", compreendendo lubrificantes contendo sais metálicos de fenóis ligados com carboxialquileno substituído com hidrocarbila, ésteres dihidrocarbílicos de ácido dicarboxílicos de alquileno, sendo o grupo alquileno substutuído com um grupo hidroxi e um grupo ácido carboxílico adicional, ou moléculas poliaromáticas ligadas com alquileno, cuja parcelas aromáticas compreendem pelo menos um fenol substituído com hidrocarbila e pelo menos um carboxi fenol, onde os grupos hidrocarbila têm comprimento suficiente para prover solubilidade do sal em óleo, apresentam boa suspensão de asfalto para aplicações em motores diesel marítimos. Preferivelmente, os sais são sobrebaseados.
