Abstract
Patente de Invenção de "PROCESSO PARA OBTENÇÃO DE MERCÚRIO METÁLICO A PARTIR DE PRODUTOS". Processo para a obtenção de mercúrio metálico a partir de produtos contendo cloreto de mercúrio. Compreende o tratamento de tais produtos com uma solução aquosa, ligeiramente ácida, concentrada e quente de cloretos, na presença de um metal capaz de reduzir o Hg^ 2+^ para Hg^ 0^ e de formar uma amálgama para recuperar, desta forma, o mercúrio em forma metálica.
