Patente de Invenção "PROCESSO DE ESTABILIZAÇÃO DE COMPOSTOS DE 3-ISOTIAZOLONA EM UMA SOLUÇÃO AQUOSA, COMPOSIÇÃO ÚTIL COMO BIOCIDA E PROCESSO PARA INIBIR O CRESCIMENTO DE BACTÉRIAS, FUNGOS, LEVEDURAS OU ALGAS EM UM LOCAL SUJEITO À CONTAMINAÇÃO PELOS MESMOS". A presente invenção proporciona um processo aperfeiçoado de estabilização de soluções de 3-isotiazolona usando compostos de bromato por tamponamento do pH da solução na faixa de 4 a 5.1 e composições que compreendem composto de 3-isotiazolona, estabilizador de composto de bromato e tampão suficiente para manter o pH na dita faixa.
