Abstract

Patente de Invenção "CÂMARA EXPANSÍVEL PARA AUXILIAR EM CONFORMAÇÃO E CURA DE UMA COMPOSIÇÃO DE BORRACHA DE HIDROCARBONETO E PROCESSO DE USO DE UMA CÂMARA DE BORRACHA EXPANSÍVEL". São mostradas câmaras expansíveis para uso em prensas de cura para borrachas de hidrocarbonetos tais como pneumáticos. As câmaras são um elastômero de reticulação compreendendo unidades de repetição isobutileno e a composição de câmara inclui grafite. Um elastômero isobutileno preferido é um copolímero bromado de isobutileno e p-metil estireno. As câmaras têm aperfeiçoada lubrificidade, baixa adesão a forros internos de pneu, e menor endurecimento de tensão quente. Os aperfeiçoamentos acima permitem borrachas hidrocarbonetos tais como pneus serem moldadas com menos defeitos causados por câmaras que sofreram abrasão ou deformadas. Elas também aperfeiçoam a vida útil da câmara reduzindo o custo de cura do pneu.
