Patente de Invenção "PROCESSO DE NITRIFICAÇÃO BIOLÓGICA DE EFLUENTES LÍQUIDOS COM ALTAS CONCENTRAÇÕES DE AMÔNIA". No processo clássico de nitrificação de eflentes líquidos, é considerado ideal que o pH seja mantido na faixa 7,5 a 8,5. Entretando, no caso de efluentes com alto teor de amônia total, o processo deve ser realizado em pH na faixa de 6,0 a 7,5 a fim de reduzir a formação de amônia livre, que é inibidora do processo.
