Um processo aperfeiçoado para polimerização de uma ou mais poliolefinas em presença de um catalisador de fase gasosa tendo uma seção expandida, o aperfeiçoamento compreendendo de um fluxo tangencial de gás ou gás-sólidos na seção expandida do reator de fase gasosa para reduzir arraste de finos no sistema de ciclo de gás e para reduzir ou remover desenvolvimento de partícula sólida sobre uma ou mais superfícies interiores da seção expandida do reator.
