Abstract
Os mononitrotoluenos podem ser preparados por misturação intensiva junto com tolueno, ácido nítrico, ácido sulfúrico e água, simultaneamente ou sucessivamente em sua quantidade total, e no caso de preparação contínua, redispersão da mistura pelo menos duas vezes, para este fim uma energia de misturação de 1 a 40 watts por litro da mistura de reação total, preferivelmente 3 a 30 W/l, é empregada por volume do reator, e para o procedimento contínuo, a retro-misturação é substancialmente reprimida. As condições de reação adiabáticas são mantidas.
