A presente invenção trata de uma serra manual aperfeiçoada, útil para a execução de serviços de serragem em alturas normalmente não atingíveis pelo usuário da serra, nem sem o auxílio de escadas e/ou outros dispositivos para trabalhos em alturas. A serra manual objeto da presente invenção incorpora uma lâmina (1) e duas manoplas (2) em suas extremidades, sendo dita lâmina (1) formada por uma série de elos (3;3a) articulados uns com os outros, cada elo (3;3a) comportando, ao longo de uma borda, dentes (4), e as extremidades da lâmina (1) sendo ligadas às ditas manoplas (2) por meio de cordas ou cabos flexíveis (12).
