Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "ALOJAMENTO PARA ENGATE RÁPIDO COM UM PERFIL ALONGADO FARPADO". Um elemento de alojamento de engate rápido inclui um perfil de farpa alongada, para acoplar o alojamento fêmea a um elemento de tubulação. O perfil de farpa alongada inclui uma superfície de vedação genericamente cilíndrica próxima a uma extremidade terminal do alojamento fêmea. A superfície de vedação da farpa alongada melhora as propriedades de vedação entre o alojamento fêmea e a tubulação, e proporciona outras vantagens, especialmente em relação ao uso de tubulação com camadas múltiplas. Ainda, um O-ring é disposto em torno da superfície de vedação, para proporcionar um selo melhor.
