Abstract
Patente de Invenção de "DISPOSITIVO MÉDICO INTRAVASCULAR", tendo uma estrutura (11) conformada e dimensionada para introdução no sistema vascular de um paciente, a estrutura tendo propriedades biologicamente inertes e um agente trombolítico (13) ou um agente antitrombogênico (14). O agente trombolítico vantajosamente dissolve ou inibe a formação de trombos na superfície de estrutura quando colocada no sistema vascular de um paciente. O agente antitrombogênico inibe a formação de trombo na superfície do dispositivo médico. A estrutura também inclui um material biologicamente inerte (15) que forma ou pelo menos parte do material base do dispositivo ou um material de revestimento 22) sobre o material base. O agente trombolítico e/ou agente antitrombogênico são homogeneamente combinados com a base e/ou material de revestimento.
