Uma solução de enxaguamento, para o tratamento de substratos de metal, revestidos por conversão, para aperfeiçoar a adesão e a resistência a corrosão de revestimentos secativos, compreendendo uma solução aquosa de íons zircônico e um organo-silano escolhido do grupo que consiste de 3-glicidóxi-propilóxi.trimetóxi-silano, metiltrimetóxi-silano, gama-metacrilóxi-trimetóxi-silano, fenil-trimetóxi-silano e misturas deles, com a concentração de íons zircônico escolhida para dar um pH de 2,0 a 9,0. Um processo para o tratamento de tais materiais para aplicação da solução de enxaguamento ao substrato.
