Patente de Invenção: " TRATAMENTO DE PRÉ-ECLÂMPSIA E TRABALHO PRÉ-PARTO COM A COMBINAÇÃO DE UM AGENTE PROGESTACIONAL E UM SUBSTRATO E/OU DOADOR DE SINTASE DE ÓXIDO NÍTRICO ". A pré-eclâmpsia e o trabalho pré-parto em uma fêmea mamífera grávida são tratados ao se administrar nela uma combinação de uma progestina e um substrato de sintase de óxido nítrico, um doador de óxido nítrico, ou ambos, opcionalmente ainda em combinação com um ou mais dentre um inibidor de ciclooxigenase, um mimético de PGI~ 2~, um inibidor de tromboxano (TXA~ 2~), um composto com propriedades de agonista de TXA~ 2~ e inibição de TXA~ 2~ e mimética de PGI~ 2~, e um antagonista de TXA~ 2~.
